Planning tools for home and work.

About Daily Spark

Practical planning for home and work: compare housing choices, put moving cash on dates, and understand the costs of a recurring job.

Start with the decision in front of you.

Daily Spark helps you work through a concrete decision with your own numbers. Home tools cover apartment offers, renewal letters, moving estimates, and the cash needed on each date:

For work, the recurring-job profitability review helps solo cleaners and small cleaning teams compare an estimate with actual visits, then explore a different price, scope, or frequency. Enter your own labor, travel, supplies, and overhead; the tool does not supply recommended market rates or read contracts.

The renting and moving guides explain what to collect and how to interpret the result. Smaller helpers remain available where they answer a specific question, such as a concession’s monthly value or one offer’s lease cost and move-in cash. The moving budget helps itemize expenses before you put them on dates in the planner.

Your inputs, with the assumptions visible.

Calculator inputs stay in browser memory by default, without a profile or automatic saving. The moving cash planner and job-profit review offer deliberate device-save, load, and delete controls. Financial inputs are not sent to our server or placed in page URLs. Exports are created only when you choose them. Remote advertising and analytics are currently disabled.

We do not fill in market rents or provider prices. Examples are illustrative, and the formulas use the amounts you enter. Results do not determine affordability, predict a deposit refund, guarantee profit, or replace written terms. A job review counts only the costs and time you include; it is not bookkeeping, payroll, tax advice, or legal contract review. Timing and nonfinancial preferences still need your judgment.

Read the calculation methodology for formulas and limits, and the editorial policy for how guides use sources and handle corrections.

A separate place for a daily brain break.

Daily Balance, Word Bridge, and Block Spark remain available, along with Story Spark. All offer play without a profile. Daily Balance and Word Bridge progress, Story Spark drafts, and Block Spark guest runs stay in your browser. Story Spark has no AI judge or public submissions. When the optional Merriam-Webster connection is enabled, requested word checks go through our server to the dictionary provider.

Ranked Block Spark Time Attack requires a username before starting, uses a server clock, and automatically sends the finished run privately for verification. Classic sends moves only when you choose Post score. In either mode, a public leaderboard entry appears only after you choose Post score. The privacy policy explains local saves, profile cookies, retained records, and deletion controls.

Help keep the numbers and explanations accurate.
